Rachael Crawford Goolsby is honored to be among the great community of yogis. Rachael began a practice of hatha yoga at age 16. Her father introduced her and her sisters to asana when she was small and to Eastern thought and religion in her early teens.
Rachael started teaching as a way of sharing this gift at age 19, but really began to blaze her path as a teacher when she attended Virginia Commonwealth University as a Dance and Choreography major, as a way of balancing her physical/spiritual life. Her practice has morphed through several styles, including Kripalu, Bikram, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, and Anusara. She enjoys working with all levels of ability and desire of students and encourages them to seek the path of their hearts.
Rachael is a North Carolina Licensed Massage Therapist, with certification as a Thai Massage Teacher, from Chongkol Settakorn from the ITM in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
She dances locally with the Dance Cooperative.
